What it is

Laser hair removal provides quick, safe and long lasting results to dramatically reduce unwanted hair. No more shaving, waxing and plucking, laser hair removal helps to permanently reduce unwanted hair. In office professional treatments are the most effective way to reduce hair permanently.

We have different lasers for different hair types and skin tones. Laser hair removal works by finding the contrast between your ‘darker’ hair and less dark skin. We can do a consultation to see if you are a candidate, but we’ve seen success with a range of skin tones and hair types. 

For both facial laser hair removal and body hair removal through lasers, a few general tips: Avoid sun exposure, for at least 2 weeks prior to your service, and for a while after (we will advise you after your appointment.) This is a must! If you have a dark deep tan, you should wait until it fades. Sun protection is key during aftercare. 

For facial laser treatments, avoid scrubs, exfoliators, glycolic acid and retinol creams for at least 2 days before and after treatment. If you are using those products on your body, it’s probably a good idea to follow the same rules, and stop using anything that peels away layers of your skin before your treatment (especially on sensitive body parts.)

We recommend that for a 2 week period before and after your laser hair removal treatment, you avoid chemical peels, and you should wait at least 1-2 weeks before getting a ‘fake’ tan.

Hair removal and reduction is personal choice, but if you choose to pursue, it’s a great way to simplify your beauty routine, maintenance and care.
